Hearts Academy is an initiative of BISTEC Global Services (Pvt) Ltd, located at No: 14, Sir Baron Jayathilake Mawatha, Colombo 01, Sri Lanka. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit hearts.academy or apply to our Industry Readiness Program.
We collect information in two ways:
Information you provide: When you submit an application through our form (hosted on Microsoft Forms), you provide your name, email address, phone number, and other details relevant to your application.
Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, we use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag) that collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. These tools use cookies and similar technologies.
We use cookies from Google Analytics 4, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how visitors interact with our site and to measure advertising effectiveness. These are industry-standard tools used by most websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft) for analytics and application processing purposes. Application data is accessible only to Hearts Academy and BISTEC Global programme administrators.
Application data is retained for the duration of the programme cycle and up to 12 months afterward for placement follow-up purposes. Analytics data is retained according to each platform's default retention policies (up to 14 months for Google Analytics).
