University undergraduates, graduates, school leavers, and career shifters are all welcome. We select on attitude and mindset, not just credentials.
Apply via our online form, it takes under five minutes. If shortlisted, you will be asked to pay a confirmation fee of LKR 5,000, after which you will be scheduled for a call with our architect, who evaluates mindset, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
You should have basic programming ability: comfortable writing simple programs in at least one language, with some exposure to web development. You do not need a degree or years of experience. The most important thing is a willingness to learn.
The programme is hybrid. You will need to visit the office once a week for networking and reviews, and attend scheduled meetings, though the schedule is flexible to work around your commitments.
LKR 5,000 confirmation fee; LKR 30,000 registration fee, paid upon selection; and LKR 20,000 a month for 6 months during the programme. Total: LKR 155,000. If cost is a concern, we are always willing to support Hearts who are genuinely interested in learning, reach out to discuss options.
No. As an ISO-certified company, BISTEC adheres to strict data security policies, so a company laptop is provided for the duration of the programme.
The programme is structured to meet NAITA Special Industrial Training requirements: 24 weeks full-time, around 960 total hours, formal supervision, a daily training diary, and assessments at 12 and 24 weeks. This is accepted by most Sri Lankan universities as completion of the industrial training requirement. You would be certified as an AI Engineering Intern at BISTEC Global.

You graduate with a production portfolio on GitHub, merged pull requests on real codebases, and a NAITA SIT certification. Top performers are placed at BISTEC or a partner company, based on recommendations from our architects, tech leads, and programme lead. You also get alumni network access and ongoing career support.
